Librarian (Dr. M. O. Salaam)

The University Library named after Alhaja Seliat Olasumbo Adebutu is an endowment of Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation (KAAF) to Crescent University Abeokuta. It was named after the late mother of the corporate philantrophist, Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu the chairman of the foundation. It is a storey building located very close to the students' hostels and not far from the academic environment of the University. The Library section was established in 2005 when the University was established. The Library commenced operations in November 2009.

The Library started off with about one thousand (1000) volumes of books which were donated to the University by individuals and some institutions. Notable among the donors were pioneer Registrar Alhaja Silifat Adedipe (Collection of Novels) and the University of Agriculture Library, Abeokuta (Collection of books on Sciences). The Library now holds volumes of books and subscribes to numerous local and foreign journals.

As with academic libraries, the University’s main objective is to support teaching and research through the provision of adequate books and non-book materials to the entire University community.
