For over the past decades Nigeria
still remain one of the countries in the world that is characterized by high
unemployment rate due to some factors in the country that yet to be attended
to. This has led to the saturation of the labor market in the country making a
large number of qualified graduates result to miner jobs in the country. And
moreover in the Nigeria, discrimination
between products of the private varsities and Government varsities is so strong
in the labor market seeing most organizations preferring graduates from
government varsities but so far the case has been different with graduates
from CRESCENT UNIVERSITY. Irrespective of the fact and figures that have
been analyzed Graduates from crescent university are still gaining recognition both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria in
their various careers and academic pursuit
There is a popular quote that
says ‘The end justifies the means’. This explains that the success of an individual
greatly depends on the making of the individual. So far since the inception of
Crescent University, our products have continued to distinguish from others in
their success after going through the rigorous academic and moral nurturing in
Crescent University. A greater percent of our graduates are performing well in
the various careers they settled for.
The mass communications
department of crescent university, Abeokuta has continued with its trailblazing
feat as two of its product was exceptional in their respective fields in Lagos
and far away Scotland. At the degree entrance examinations for the mass
communications examinations for the UNILAG, it was Nurudeen Oyewole who came
top while at the Robert Gordon University in Arbeen, Scotland, Rafiat Gawat
finished with distinction to obtain M. Sc. in corporate communication and
public affairs form the prestigious institution. In 2013, it was Adeola Yussuf,
a master’s degree entrance examination in UNILAG and in 2014 Nurudeen Oyewolw
also a mass communications graduates emulated Yussuf by emerging the best
during the entrance examinations again. To top Oyewole scored 71 percent to
beat other candidates from the public and private universities across the
country and beyond.
An elated Oyewole attributed his
success to the rigorous and highly challenging curriculum at CRESCENT
UNIVERSITY backed by the team experienced and qualified lecturers in the mass
communications department. Oyewole a staff of daily trust newspaper was a
runner up of the 2014 Wole Soyinka award for investigative reporting (health
category)
In far away Scotland, Gawat, who
is the pioneer first class graduate of the mass communications department of
Crescent University, obtained an M. Sc. in corporate communications and public
affairs from the Robert Gordon university graduating top of her class. Amongst
